Why these ingredients stand out

Bovine, marine and chicken collagen

ELAVATE combines hydrolysed collagen peptides from three animal sources. Hydrolysing the collagen breaks it down into smaller peptides, allowing it to dissolve easily and making it convenient to include in a daily routine.

The blend supplies collagen Types I, II, III and V:

• Type I is naturally found in skin, bones and tendons.
• Type II is a principal collagen found in cartilage.
• Type III is naturally found alongside Type I in skin and connective tissue.
• Type V contributes to the structure of several body tissues.

Liposomal vitamin C

Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of the skin, bones and cartilage. It also contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and the normal function of the immune system.

The liposomal format is designed to improve the delivery and absorption of vitamin C.

Hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance found in the skin, connective tissue and joints. It is well known for its ability to attract and retain water, which is why it is also commonly used in hydrating skincare.

Biotin

Biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and normal skin. ELAVATE provides 5mg—equivalent to 5,000µg—per full serving.

Please be aware that high-dose biotin can interfere with certain blood-test results. Tell your doctor or healthcare professional that you take biotin before having blood tests, as they may advise you to stop it temporarily.

Zinc

Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal skin, hair and nails. It also helps protect cells from oxidative stress and supports the normal function of the immune system.

Vitamin B12

Vitamin B12 contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, normal psychological function and a reduction in tiredness and fatigue.

Vitamins D3 and K2

Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal bones, teeth and muscle function. Vitamin K also contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and normal blood clotting.

Probiotic cultures

The formula includes the live bacterial cultures Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium animalis. This was one of the additional ingredients that interested me when comparing ELAVATE with more basic collagen-only products.

Choose your flavour

The chocolate version contains real cocoa powder and can be enjoyed as a warm drink. The unflavoured option contains no added flavouring or sweeteners and can be mixed into coffee, yoghurt or smoothies.

How to use ELAVATE

Take one serving daily according to the directions on the packaging. It can be mixed with:

• Coffee

Important information

ELAVATE contains collagen derived from fish, beef and chicken and is therefore not suitable for vegetarians or vegans.
