Hello, I'm Sophia Wyatt and I'd love to share with you my journey to becoming a skin specialist and why I chose the skin treatments I provide.
I have a keen interest in Laser and IPL skin treatments for conditions like acne, rosacea, age sun spots, pigmentation, broken veins and capillaries, also hair removal. I specialise in Tattoo Removal. Based in Send, my clinic is perfectly situated between Woking and Guildford, with direct links to Cobham, Weybridge, Windsor, Leatherhead and Dorking.
Also home to the Dermalux TriWave MD the most powerful LED the best and fastest treatment for Psoriasis, Eczema, Dermatitis, wound healing and pain treatment in Surrey.
I have a personal interest in solving skin problems for people of all ages. Following my own life changing battle to survive when I contracted Meningitis and Sepsis at the age of 16, which resulted in the amputation of both my legs and some fingers. I know only too well how trauma and disability impacts people physically and emotionally, but also how the right care and empathy can positively impact a persons recovery. I’m passionate about making beauty treatments accessible to all in particular those with a disability, chronic medical condition or low self esteem. Opening my own fully accessible and private clinic nestled in the pretty village of Send perfectly positioned between Woking and Guildford, I have dedicated my entire career in beauty and Aesthetics to offering non-surgical, minimally invasive but highly effective solutions to people who really need them.
Skin treatments that really do change lives!
I am a highly skilled, multi award winning skin specialist providing targeted skin treatments that solve an array of debilitating conditions from Acne, Psoriasis, unwanted hair growth. Blemish removals and broken veins, age spots, scarring, hair loss and anti-ageing to name just a few. My clinic is home to an array of medical grade specialist devices used by the NHS including Dermalux TriWave MD LED, Lynton Laser and IPL (Intense Pulsed Light). Along with popular treatments including Micro-needling, Chemical Peels and Targeted Medical Grade Facials, laser and IPL treatments. With so many cosmetic treatments no longer available on the NHS, such as skin tag, wart and verruca removal I am recommended by GP’s and Surgeons across Surrey and the surrounding areas.
My career began over 30 years ago as a makeup and hair stylist in film and TV, I longed to find a more permanent solution for people with chronic skin conditions, medical conditions and scarring. I also met so many people with low self esteem who found traditional beauty salons and spa’s inaccessible and intimidating. My career naturally evolved training in Cosmetic tattooing, permanent makeup, micro blading and Areola reconstruction. I developed a fountain of knowledge and experience in medical and Cosmetic Tattoo techniques, ink and colour theory. Sadly though the more the cosmetic tattoo industry increased in popularity the more clients came to me for correctional work, I quickly saw the need for Laser and Non-Laser Tattoo Removal and scar tissue management, so began to research laser. I took the plunge in 2020 and invested in LYNTON Laser devices a British company who work in conjuction with University of Manchester and a recommended supplier for NHS, vocational Qualifications and superior training enabling me to recommend the most effective, long lasting, minimal trauma treatment for my clients skin.
All treatment plans are personalised to your specific skin needs.
Based in a beautiful private clinic in Send near Guildford, Woking and Cobham in Surrey with direct links to the M25 corridor via A3 that benefits from free street and off street parking. Supporting Patients and Charities
Throughout my career I have always tried to give something back to charities close to my heart. Volunteering for an amazing charity called Look Good Feel Better I helped at their workshops at St Luke’s Cancer Unit at The Royal Surrey County Hospital. I whole heartedly support those battling against cancer following my dear Mothers 9 year battle with Ovarian Cancer and try to help in my clients quest to return to normal life during their treatment and recovery.
I am also a proud Ambassador for SKCIN the skin Cancer and Melanoma Charity, speaking at events and campaigning for greater education and training throughout the industry to ensure clients are protected.
I am a passionate campaigner for improved Safety standards and regulation in the Beauty and Aesthetics industry and was awarded a special Inspirational Award at the Safety In Beauty Awards in 2021.
