Using targeted fractional laser technology, controlled micro-columns of heat are delivered into the skin to encourage collagen production, improve skin renewal and support long-term skin rejuvenation.

How does Fractional Laser work?

Fractional laser technology treats only tiny sections of the skin at a time while the surrounding skin remains intact. This helps the skin heal more quickly while still encouraging renewal and collagen stimulation. Unlike more aggressive CO2 laser treatments, which can involve significant redness, peeling and recovery time, Er:Yag 2940nm Fractional laser offers a gentler approach with minimal downtime, making it a great option for clients who want visible skin rejuvenation without weeks of recovery.

What happens during treatment?

Your skin will be cleansed and prepared before the treatment begins. You may feel warmth, prickling or a mild snapping sensation as the laser is passed over the skin. The treatment is usually quick and well tolerated. Afterwards, the skin may look flushed, feel warm and appear slightly rough or dry as the renewal process begins. This is completely normal and usually settles within a few days.

How many treatments will I need?

This depends on your skin concerns and your desired results. Some clients notice an improvement after one treatment, while a course may be recommended for concerns such as acne scarring, texture or deeper lines. Is Fractional Non-Ablative Laser treatment painful?

Most clients describe the treatment as mildly uncomfortable rather than painful. A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment to keep you comfortable, and the skin may feel warm or tingly during the procedure. After treatment, you may experience some redness and sensitivity similar to mild sunburn for 24–48 hours.

What is the downtime after Fractional Non-Ablative Laser resurfacing?

Downtime is minimal compared to ablative laser treatments. Most clients experience redness, slight swelling, and a rough “sandpaper” texture for a few days while the skin renews itself. Many people return to normal daily activities within 24 hours, although it’s important to avoid direct sun exposure and wear SPF daily during healing.
